As reported in December, we put on a Christmas Devotional in each of our Stakes and Districts. Throughout the month of December the Shaners, Assistants and President and I traveled to every corner of the mission and worked with the local missionaries serving in those areas to put on a devotional featuring Christmas in Zarahemla. The other senior couples joined in when their schedules allowed. In December we posted photos from our Santiago and Burgos devotionals. The members are so appreciative so many came up afterwards and expressed their gratitude and said they felt the spirit. It was truly a highlight of our Christmas season!

Elder Marshall did double duty, he conducted the zone choir and as you'll see below he played the part of Nephi. (He told me that volunteerism is alive and well as he volunteered to do all kinds of things. Oops and I forgot he also played the tambourine for Elder Shaner during his solo!)

Sister Larsen was transferred a week or so before this performance so she got to do it twice. Here she is playing the drums in one of our numbers. She is so musically talented!
We will never forget the looks of sheer joy on the faces of the many dear people who came to hear our devotional! It was truly a wonderful experience for all of us!
