Follow-up Training for Trainers and New Missionaries

We love our new batch of missionaries. They have fit nicely into the mission. We keep hearing from their trainers comments like, "I'm the one being trained," or "She came already trained!" Nevertheless, we enjoyed having this group come in for a day of training. It's also our way to reconnect with the new missionaries and their trainers and make sure that all is well.

We start with a joint session--with both trainers and new missionaries. Then we break while each companionship comes up with a 3-word motto to be used throughout their 12 week training. Then we separate them into groups and we have time to hear all about their experiences. We try to discover their challenges and we celebrate their successes! We end with a late lunch--it's always a happy, fun experience.

Sister Peckham and her anak Sister Gardoce.
Sister Klein is training Sister Daelo.
Elder Pareja and Elder Odom are together in Benito Solivan.
Elder Bundy is training Elder Saba.
Elder Landeen is training again! He and Elder Taer are serving in Dupax Sur.
Elder Woodruff is training Elder Paloma.

Many of our trainers are new to the mission. The goal of the new training program is that new missionaries can serve as trainers soon after they are trained. It's all very exciting!
