Christmas Day with our Senior Couples

All the senior couples and President's assistants gathered at the mission home early Christmas morning. President began the day with a little Christmas Devotional where we each talked about Jesus Christ.

Next we opened up the stocking gifts that we brought for each other. Each of us were spoiled, receiving lots of useful and fun gifts.

As you can see our stockings were bulging! Santa was very good to this bunch of senior missionaries!

Next came a huge brunch complete with creme brulee French toast, ham, bacon, fruits, hash browns, etc, etc!

Then the games began and we played throughout the day. As some couples headed home before dark, others stayed behind and we played games until bedtime! It was a wonderful day to enjoy each other's company despite the fact that our thoughts and hearts were wandering back home missing our own families on this special day.

 In the kitchen was a rousing game of Balderdash!

 In the living room was a very serious game of Scrabble.

 After an all day party a few of us settled down to a game of Crud.

The Lakers have become official crud experts.

We love these great senior couples and we always enjoy their company!
