When we first arrived I was so worried about the quality of healthcare our missionaries could get here in the provinces. But over the years we've built a network of some tremendous professionals. We have a trusted internist, surgeon, dentist, and eent (eyes, ears, nose throat) doctor. I feel confident that our missionaries can get what they need-and if there's ever anything in question we get our missionaries to Manila to be seen by the world class physicians at St. Luke's.
Elder Huffstutler has been plaqued with ear infections the past few months. When he had his third one and it felt like something was in his ear we took him to the EENT who vacuumed out a big hunk of matter! Immediately Elder H. got relief and so far, no more problems!
