We plotted out our last Family Home Evenings and invited numerous dear families over and in a few cases we were invited to their homes.
Here's a recap of the past few weeks!
Celebrating Rachel's folks 40th anniversary. Oh how we love this great family! We have had so many delicious meals and parties at their home.
Their home's grounds were beautifully landscaped.

This was a feast of filipino delicacies--all very delicious. Rachel and her sister and mother really know how to cook!

Two awesome families from Cauayan. It's been fun to watch them learn about the church, get baptized, get church callings and prepare to attend the temple.
The assistants did the best job teaching a lesson on temple attendance. What I loved is that they taught to the children and they were totally involved in the lesson--no that's what we want to see during FHE!

Dinner and FHE with favorite friends from Gamu Branch. We've had them over several times and they had us over to their home too.
Who's on the ipad via facetime? It's Elder Wooden--now Brother Wooden. This family will forever remember and love that great missionary!
After the lesson, visit with Brother Wooden it was time for dessert. I haven't met a filipino yet that didn't love homemade cookies and ice cream!

We love this couple--we attended their wedding our very first year here. Now they are parents of a darling little girl.

So many laughs, hugs, smiles, tears as we say goodbye to people who we have come to love. We will miss them all forever and ever! I hope we all stay in touch via facebook!
