June 5 was a historic day for the Philippines Cauayan Mission. It was the first day that our newly formed MLC (Mission Leaders Council) met. Participants included our 22 zone leaders and 6 Training Sister Leaders, the Assistants to the President, President Carlos and Sister Carlos.
We met in the Cauayan District Center and received lots of great counsel from the President and Assistants and then we counciled together on a number of items that the Area Presidency asked us to think about.
What a powerful group of strong leaders. We are so grateful for the examples and guidance that they offer the rest of the missionaries. They truly care and love those they serve.
President Carlos "wowed" us all with his amazing egg rolls and fried rice. (He made over 200 egg rolls and all but 4 were eaten during lunch!)
