One Year Celebration

We love to have missionaries come spend their P-Days at the mission home. Recently a batch of missionaries asked if they could come bake a cake to celebrate their 1 year anniversary here in the mission. We were happy to have them come spend the day. Of course, they brought their companions with them so all in all I think we had 14 missionaries.
President Carlos insisted on cooking them a big breakfast. After that I shared my recipe for Texas Sheetcake. (It was funny because the filipinos didn't understand the term sheetcake and they were confused as to why anyone would name a cake after what they thought I was saying...) They made two large cakes.
And for the first time in history we were the subject of a CSP (Community Service Project). The missionaries insisted on washing the president's car. Most of the filipinos had never washed a car so it was really funny to watch them do it.
While they were here they watched a video and sang around the piano.
By early afternoon they all headed back to their areas to prepare for the rest of the week. We love these missionaries and had fun spending some time with them.
