I always love transfer day. The mission home and office is crazy with activity. Then at 10:00 all missionaries enter the chapel and we watch some of the inspirational videos that President Carlos has so carefully found or prepared. We open with prayer, announcements and President often calls on several missionaries to come up and bear their testimonies. Then he announces all the new leaders. This cycle we have a new Assistant to the President, Elder Rondilla. There is not a more humble soul than Elder Rondilla. When his name was read his fellow missionaries gave a round of applause and cheers went up. Several had tears in their eyes. They love Elder Rondilla. We look forward to having him serve in the Mission Office for his last two cycles.
Next, the APs make the announcement of who is being transferred where and everyone meets their new companions. Our brand new missionaries get to meet their trainers and then off they go in a million directions.

| The Monday before our transfer meeting we had a Mission-Wide Apartment Clean-Up Day complete with all kinds of prizes. Elder Mortensen and Elder Obando participated and each won a big bucket of cookies! Other prizes included a dinner at the Mission Home for the companion and their zone leaders; new towels; new pillows; American Breakfast (Fruit Loops and Frosted Flakes) and milk; a batch of my homemade chocolate chip cookes and a box of junk food. Everyone had fun and as a mission we were able to remember that "Cleanliness is next to Godliness." |

| Sister Corpuz, Sister Sajol and Sister Conje are all going to be working together in Tugeugarao. They are already good friends and are excited to live and work together. I brought out the Gingerbread House and they dove right in and started eating the chimney and roof! It didn't take long before it was totally eaten. |
