Our White Christmas!

The sun was shining, the grass was green, the palm trees were swaying and the temperatures were high, but here in the Philippines Cauayan Mission we all enjoyed a WHITE CHRISTMAS!

We started our day by having the APS and the Breeses over to open stockings. It appears that Santa found his way to the Mission Home and left each of us a stocking full of fun little gifts.

Next President got on his apron and made crepes. We invited all the closeby elders and sisters to come for breakfast. Then at 10:00 we headed to Cabatuan where Elder Kelson and Elder Laudenorio had a baptism. President and I raced on to Jones where Elder Troy Ellis and Elder Medina had a baptism. Back to Cauayan where Sister Rivera and Sister Webre along with Elder Bayles and Elder Mulliner had four baptized. We ended our day by attending Elder Miller, Elder Bates and Elder Lien's in Ilagan where they had three baptised. The Breese's headed to Nueva Vizcaya where they saw six people baptized. All in all our misison had 32 baptisms on Christmas Day--Now that's a White Christmas! As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we believe our greatest gift is the gospel of Jesus Christ. What a blessing it was to share that gift with 32 souls as a way to honor our Lord and Savior!
