There's no other more exciting time in a mission than transfer day. It happens every six weeks. Missionaries who are about to receive a new assignment are asked to come into the mission office. We have a formal meeting in the chapel next door and then each new companionship is announced.
Oops, I lied! Actually the most exciting and rewarding time in the mission is when we get to attend a baptism and see the fruits of our missionaries' labors. But transfer day is a close second!
