The Sisters Arrive

We decided to offer a specialized training session for the sister missionaries in our mission. Because of the distances to the Mission Home, we asked those 10 sisters serving in our most outlying areas to come in the day before the training. It was so much fun to watch them greet their friends and former companions. There were screams of delight and tears of joy.


The Cauayan Sisters joined us for dinner. Sister Conje was the only one missing from this group. She had to catch a flight to Manila to get some medical tests run. We all missed her.

Then we all worked hard to make Creme Brulee French Toast for all the sisters who would be arriving in time for breakfast the next morning.


We played Apples to Apples (I was the big loser!) and then it was time for bed. We were able to sleep all ten in the "bunk house." They must have been tired because we didn't hear a peep from them until morning.
