...And Here They Come

About twelve hours after we wiped the tears from our eyes as we watched the bus pull away from Cauayan, we were back at the curb waiting anxiously for our new batch of elders and sisters to arrive.
What a beautiful site the were coming off that bus. Our incoming missionaries generally leave Manila around 8:00 pm but this batch missed their bus (something about flood waters and slow moving traffic in Manila) and had to wait until 10:30 pm to board. Consequently they arrived much later than usual so we had to push back our transfer meeting in order to feed them, give them time for showers, orientate them and get their interviews completed. I know they were exhausted but all were in good spirits and raring to go!
