We also had the pleasure of attending Roxas Zone Meeting Training under the direction of Elder Griffin and Elder Velez.
Elder Griffin and Elder Velez introduced their theme which was creating a divine companionship.
They set up an obstacle course and first blind folded the senior companion from each companionship. The junior companions were to stand across the lot and direct their companion across the course. If they touched a chair they were out. In the meantime the zone leaders, and assistants were yelling at the elders--giving them the wrong directions. They were to only listen to their companion. It was interesting that all the senior missionaries made it across. But that wasn't the case with the junior companions, many of them were misguided by others. I guess it proves that senior companions have more experience listening to their companions.
The game was followed by a very powerful discussion on what we can do to create a divine companionship that is worthy of the Holy Spirit.
