President and I walk many mornings. We leave our home around 6:45 and walk for 30 to 60 minutes.Each day we head out in a different direction and no matter which way we turn we see people outside their homes or storefronts sweeping or washing their sidewalks or front walks.
Only in the Philippines are the sunsets this exquisite. I love how the palm trees are black and the vivid colors are behind. Most nights and most mornings the skies are spectacular.
Is it common to see glorious hedges of bougainvillea and other vibrant flowering plants. This hedge stretched on for about a block!
Are there giant moths/butterflies. This was in the courtyard garden between our house and the mission office. It was about the size of a salad plate!
Do children and adults sleep in hammocks more than in beds. Many babies and children sleep in hammocks. When they wake up the mothers lift the hammock out of the way and drape it over a nail. When you think about it, a hammock is nice and cool. There's air circulating all around the body.
