March Transfers

With Elder Rondilla going home, President Carlos needed a new Assistant. Elder Bangal was asked to serve in that capacity. He is a wonderful young elder with great leadership potential and a great personality. We look forward to serving with him!

There is always a great sense of excitement in the air on transfer day. A number of missionaries shared their musical talents: Sister Abad, Ambata and Sister Pence and Elder Cantos sang. Before the transfers are announced all the missionares move to the back of the chapel. As their names are called they come forward, they shake their old companion's hand, walk forward and greet their new companion, shake hands and sit together in their new zone. I've watched this process over and over and it hit me this time how symbolic this really is as they are leaving their truly saying goodbye to their old area and coming together with a new companion in a new area.

Elder Mortensen and Elder McGuffin stop by the misison home. Elder Mortensen proclaimed that he never ate healthy food but enjoyed a big bowl of strawberries before heading out for a burger at Jollibee! These two are working in Tugeugarao Zone.
