We met Brother Manzano last August, soon after we arrived. He was a dear gentleman that was in his 80s. He had been attending our services for the past three years, but needed special permission to be baptized because of some things that happened when he was a young man. After submitting his case and waiting for over six months President got the word that he could be baptized. We were thrilled to be in attendance. He wept most of the time. We couldn't help but think back to all the wonderful missionaries who had worked with him these past three years. Sometimes the fruits of our labors aren't felt immediately. But on Saturday they were realized!

| Because of his health, we had one brother baptize him and Elder Bayles helped keep him steady in the font. |
