Elder Farley's Shoes

I love seeing worn out shoes. It tells the story of relentless missionaries who walk and trek through mud and rocks to share the gospel message with others. Elder Farley stopped by last P-Day and showed me the shoes he was wearing. They were barely attached on one side. Later that day we got him to the new mall (the one and only mall in our entire mission) and he was able to purchase a nice pair of sturdy shoes.

I would bet Elder Farley's feet have gotten wet a time or two as he's walked through rain storms and mud.
