Cauayan District Conference

President Carlos recently presided at the Cauayan District Conference. Sister Gottfredson helped me with the Saturday afternoon auxiliary training. We focused on helping our children, young adults and adults feast upon the scriptures. We also focused on reverence. We tried to have all kinds of handouts and ideas that they could implement in their homes and during their Sunday meetings.

During the Saturday Adult session the District YSA choir sang. They sounded so good. They told us that they were also going to sing the next day at the general session and so President invited them all to come to the mission home for icecream after the Sunday session.

We love these YSAs and the assistants and I had fun serving them while President was attending the conference wrap-up meetings. It is so handy to have the mission home next door to the chapel.

This is my friend who sings with the YSA choir but really isn't a YSA she works in Cauayan and her family lives in Santiago about an hour away. She goes home several weekends a month and the other times she attends one of the Cauayan branches.

We love these great young people!
